April 30 was an interesting day around town. Sophie and Charlie's school was closed for seven days due to a suspected case of the swine flu. So we spent much of the day outside, where both television and a newspaper reporters found us as they swarmed the neighborhood after a press conference that morning. We were featured at the start of the 6 o'clock news Thursday and then in this Portland Press article on Friday. Weird to have the journalistic tables turned on me!
